Another case has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking the removal of Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji.

Activist Charles Rubia Waithaka claims that Haji is involved in corruption, misconduct, favoritism among other issues.

He alleges that there have been improper promotions and indiscriminate transfers to prosecutors while Haji has been in office.

Through attorney Danstan Omari, Rubia alleges that the transfer of state attorneys has led to delays in the case and disruption of court hearings.

Rubia alleges that Haji has sacked senior prosecutors and appointed young people who do not have enough experience to replace them.

The matter has also been submitted to the public service commission. Haji is currently facing four charges seeking his removal from office.
