List of People Who Have Won The AFRIMA 2021 Awards

On Sunday 23rd November, the 2021 African Music Awards (AFRIMA) Gala was held at the Eko Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria.

The event saw celebrities in the entertainment industry compete for the prestigious Award.

Kenyan singer Nikita Kering took home two awards; Best East African Female Artist and Best Artist, Group in RnB and Soul.

The award-winning band Sol was named the Best Group with the Best in African Rock Award presented by Rash Band.

Kenyan singer Shanah Manjeru, 13, emerged the youngest winner of the awards after winning the Best African Female Artist award in Inspiring Music.

But the biggest winner of the night was Malian Ibaone, who won four awards - Best Album of the Year, African Male Artist in Motivational Music, Best Songwriter and Best Male Artist from West Africa.

Wizkid won three of the four awards he won at AFRIMA this year; Best Song of the Year and Best African Partnership and Best Artist of the Year Award.
