Sabina Chege, the Murang'a County Woman Representative, has cautioned President Uhuru Kenyatta about the Jubilee Party's inability to change.
Despite a string of losses in by-elections around the nation, Uhuru, the party's leader, has struggled to revitalize the party, which political commentators have dubbed a "carcass."
Sabina stated on Tuesday that although they are still in the party, they are concerned about the delays in resurrecting it or forming a new one to offset the popularity of the United Democratic Alliance.
"We are awaiting the decision of the Jubilee party." "Our party leaders are stalling, but we hope they will have worked on something by the end of the month," Sabina remarked.
She indicated that if there is no movement by February, she and other Kieleweke lawmakers would look for alternatives, which might include joining UDA or other minor parties.
"Jubilee leaders should not postpone because as aspirants, we want to begin producing campaign materials and plot how to popularize ourselves," Sabina said.
