Humphrey Kayange has been included in the list of professional rugby players

Retired Kenyan national rugby team star player with 7 players on each side Humphrey Kayange has been included in this year's list of professional rugby players.

Kayange, 39, is one of 6 players this year named by the 2021 Hall of Fame Inductees.

Kayange, who retired in 2016 at the age of 34, played 49 games for the Shujaa national team and scored 270 points from 2003.

Kayange was also the captain of the Shujaa squad that played in the semi-finals of the World Cup twice in 2009 and 2013.

Kayange is the first player from Kenya and East Africa to be included in the list of 164 players who have excelled so far.

The player also participated in the Commonwealth Games twice in 2010 and 2014 and was part of the squad that won the first and only championship of the Singapore Sevens in 2016.

Kayange is currently a member of the IOC International Olympic Committee and also serves on the IOC Athletics Committee.

Kayange also played for the national rugby team with 15 players on each side of Simbas.
