4 students arrested for plotting to burn down Murang'a boarding school

Police at Githumu police headquarters in Murang'a County are keeping four understudies from Gituro High School who are apparently plotting to torch a lodging.

The four were captured on Monday after CCTV cameras enlightened one of them tossing a letter to the head administrator's office, Mutero Ndiiwa training him to release them home before Friday and taking steps to torch the residence if he neglected to give them authorization.

Mr Mutero detailed that on Sunday he got a call from his representative Jane Wamunya illuminating him that the safety officer had observed five liters of petroleum concealed in the school fence.

As indicated by a police report composed by the director, the fuel was intended to be utilized to torch a live-in school at the school.

The four understudies who were captured are relied upon to show up in court today (Tuesday) to answer charges against them.

These are being enlisted while the school torching cases are wild

On Monday, three understudies from Kagumo school in Nyeri County were captured while attempting to burn down a quarters at the school. The three were found with fuel, turpentine just as sulfur.

Around five schools revealed fires on Monday night.

The schools remember Mwala Girls High for Machakos County, Maranda High in Siaya County, Cheplaskei High in Uasin Gishu, Nambale Boys' High School in Busia and St. Mary's Primary School. Mary's Riabore in Nyamira County.
