In the second application, businessman Francis Nyaga Njeru accused Haji of failing to be properly constitutional in tomorrow's 150 million shilling land against businessman Ahmed Rashid Jibril and his wife Farah Ali Mohamed.
A recent request came from former Jack and Jill Schon general store owner Ahmed Noorani seeking Haji's dismissal for improper handling of a case where fellow businessman Rajendra Ratilal Sanghani failed to pay a debt of 167 million shillings. before the case is completed.
Proponents of her case have been working to make the actual transcript of this statement available online.
They accuse Haji of a number of offenses, including abuse of power, favoritism, violation of constitutional rights, and disregard for Chapter Six of the constitution.
However, Nairobi-based lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi, better known as Grand Mullah, says the application is funded by influential people in the government.
"The most influential people in the government who have raised millions of dollars to fire the director of public prosecutions," said the lawyer.
Although he did not elaborate on the reasons for saying ‘influential people’, Ahmednasir hinted that more such applications would be used by the PSC.
"Some ministers have contributed a lot by collecting the money so applications are being sent to the PSC and the sun has been well funded," he said through his twitter account.
