The Central Union of Trade Unions has supported a choice to disintegrate the Kenya Football Federation and delegate a break council for quite some time.
In an assertion on Saturday, General Secretary Francis Atwoli said it was an exceptionally late choice that would fortify discipline in the game.
"FKF has been a thistle in the side of Kenyan football considering they have been engaged with pointless legislative issues and battling with the players and the public authority as well as other vital participants in the Kenyan football industry," Atwoli said.
Atwoli credited the terrible showing of the National group to other football clubs in Kenya and helpless administration and poor monetary administration in FKF.
"It was appropriate for the public authority to intercede. As an area, we really want to reestablish our lost greatness as East African heroes and this requires the public authority, through the Ministry of Sports, to be pretty much as sure and confident as the Minister. It has been," he said.
We wants to thank @AMB_A_Mohammed for this timely and bold action towards purposive positive change in the football sector in Kenya. At the same time, we ask politicians to keep off from the administration of football. @moscakenya pic.twitter.com/KRtyaOiwHN

Atwoli's assertion comes only hours after FKF president Nick Mwendwa was captured for supposedly stealing FKF cash.
Mwendwa was captured on Friday and taken to DCI central command, for additional scrutinizing.
