Mc Jessy Contests for Imenti South Assembly

Comedian Jasper Muthomi popularly known as MC Jessy has announced his intention to run for a parliamentary seat in his home constituency of Imenti South or if you prefer South Imenti.

On Saturday, November 6, 2021, Jessy was approved by the elders of her community to run for parliament in next year's general election. 

The artist posted photos of the event where he appears to have received several cultural leadership materials to indicate that they have given him their blessings in search of leadership.

Jasper said that he believes in the saying that what the elders see sitting young people can only see if they stand on their shoulders. 

He says the time has come for the community to rectify matters to ensure that the elderly do not fear the youth or feel abandoned by them.

Mc Jessy joins fellow comedian Felix Odiwuor popularly known as Jalang’o in politics where he has announced his candidacy for a parliamentary seat in the Lang’ata constituency of Nairobi county.
