One year before the start of the 22nd edition of the Qatar World Cup

The 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar will be played from November 21 to December 18.

The World Cup will be held at eight different venues in Qatar, with 7 of them expected to be completed by the end of 2021.

Ahmad Bin Ali, Al Bayt, Al Janoub, Al Thumama, Education City, Khalifa International and 974 Ras Abu Aboud are the finalists in the world, while Lusail, who will host the final, is expected to officially open early next year.

Already the European Championship group stage matches have been completed with the first 9 teams qualifying directly.

Five-time champions Brazil and Argentina have also secured tickets from the South American region.

A total of 13 nations have qualified for the World Cup out of the 32 participants.

The Cup has featured 18 different teams since its launch in 1930 in Uruguay.

The countries that have qualified so far are Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Croatia, Denmark, England, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Qatar, Serbia, Spain and Switzerland.

The draw for the European Championship matches will be held on November 26.

To test the potential for next year's World Cup, Qatar will host the FIFA Arab Cup between November 30 and December 18 this year.

Ticket sales are expected to start early next year as well as restaurants already rented.
