The tournament, which was launched last year in August, will feature 8 teams and is usually organized in one day and will bring together retired players who are friends with friends as well as entertaining.
The competition has secured funding of three and a half thousand shillings from Betlion gambling company.
Speaking at Monday's event, Betlion's managing director Robert Chirchir said they were aiming to increase their sponsorship in the future for the tournament.
"Everything is calm and we are ready to organize a competition and provide entertainment on and off the field," said Bob Collins Otieno Ceo, a premier league stakeholders.
