5 People Died in Kajiado Road Accident

Five people lost their lives on Saturday morning after two vehicles collided head-on near Ilbisil on the Namanga-Kajiado highway.

Police say three other people were injured. A police report states that a Toyota Probox, traveling towards Ilbisil with several people, collided with another vehicle traveling towards Namanga from Kajiado, killing four people on the spot and injuring three others.

The driver of the second car was allegedly drunk and lost control of his vehicle and died instantly in the crash.

Confirming the accident, Namanga Police Station Commander Jackson Mathenge urged motorists to adhere to traffic rules.

The bodies of the victims were taken to Kajiado General Hospital and the injured were taken to the same hospital.
