Alice Wahome, a Kandara MP, Was Obliged to Confirm Her Age Because Odm Supporters Said She Was Older Than Raila Odinga, Who Is About to Go to the 8th Floor

Alice Muthoni Wahome, a Kandara Member of Parliament, was obliged to confirm her age on Thursday when a portion of Kenyans thought she was older than former Prime Minister and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Many Kenyans, particularly Deputy President William Ruto's supporters, have urged the former Premier to step down since he is too elderly to be President of Kenya.

Raila Odinga supporters, on the other hand, advised Ruto's lieutenants to be quiet since Alice Wahome, the DP's planned running partner in August, is older than Raila Odinga.

Wahome, on the other hand, quickly clarified on Twitter that she is 63 years old, not 78 as ODM supporters had claimed.

"At least let's get my age straight, Jameni.... April 28th, 1959..... #Nihayotukwasasa #AliceWahome," she says.

Wahome is one of the Mt Kenya lawmakers that has thrown his support behind Ruto's presidential campaign.
