A group of Kapenguria youth took to the streets and chanted anti-UDA slogans before torching a wheelbarrow with Deputy President William Ruto's UDA party symbol painted on it.
The wheelbarrow was erected in the town to help the UDA party gain popularity in the area.
Residents watched the dramatic scenes from afar as the rowdy youth set fire to the wheelbarrow.
“Useless. The youth were heard chanting, "UDA mazishi."
Ruto's popularity is dwindling, as evidenced by this latest incident.
According to a recent poll conducted by Infotrack, Ruto's popularity has been steadily declining, while Raila's has significantly increased following the highly anticipated Azimio La Umoja Convention on December 10, 2021, at which he declared his candidacy.
