Cleophas Malala Clarifies Why Mudavadi Has Not Welcomed DP Ruto to His Advertised Gathering at Bomas of Kenya on Sunday

Kakamega Senator, Cleophas Malala, has clarified why Amani National Congress(ANC) party pioneer, Musalia Mudavadi, has not welcomed Deputy President William Ruto for his party's National Delegates Conference(NDC) to be hung on Sunday at the Bomas of Kenya.

In a meeting with one of the nearby dailies on Thursday, Malala, who is a dear companion of Mudavadi, said they would not welcome DP Ruto on the grounds that they treat him as their rival.

"We are just welcoming our companions, not our rivals. Ruto is our companion yet our rival. We have not welcomed him," Malala said

ANC Secretary-General, Simon Gikuru, has anyway affirmed that the One Kenya Alliance(OKA) co-directors are totally welcomed.

OKA Principals incorporate Wiper pioneer Kalonzo Musyoka, Kanu Chairman Gideon Moi, Ford Kenya supremo Moses Wetang'ula and previous Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo.

"We have effectively welcomed OKA directors. I have not seen any greeting for Raila. Neither have I seen one for Jubilee.

"For what reason would we welcome our rivals when we are sending off our bid for the administration? To come and do what?" Gikuru presented.
