Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka and KANU Chairman Gideon Moi have denied supporting former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's presidential campaign in 2022.
Kalonzo and Gideon insisted during a news conference in Nairobi on Wednesday that they are still members of the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) and have not abandoned the group.
"How can we back Raila Odinga as OKA principals?" Kalonzo wondered to the press.
At the same time, Musalia Mudavadi, the head of the Amani National Congress (ANC), refuted reports that he was close to establishing a coalition with Deputy President William Ruto.
"OKA is whole and complete. I implore my fellow Kenyans to be patient and sober.
"I am most passionate about issues concerning our country's leadership.
"I cannot allow myself or my political friends to take chances with Kenyans' lives."
"I'm still running for President," Mudavadi stated.
