President Uhuru Kenyatta has guaranteed Kenyans that they will be protected in the possession of Orange Democratic Movement pioneer Raila Odinga after the August 9 General Election.

Talking during the one-and-a-half-hour State House meeting between the President and pioneers from the Western district, Uhuru was insistent with regards to the decision of Raila as his favored replacement even as he felt baffled with the Sunday's 'quake' move by ANC Leader Mudavadi and his Ford Kenya partner, Moses Wetang'ula, to collaborate with Deputy President William Ruto in front of races.

As per sources, the president was more insistent over his help for a Raila administration than previously, notice the pioneers, for the most part Members of Parliament, that those excusing his inclination for the ODM pioneer would come to lament when it would be past the point of no return.
