Matungu constituency MP Peter Oscar Nabulindo has called on Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi to join Raila Odinga in the Union Declaration.

Nabulindo, who was elected Matungu MP for the ANC, said it was time for Mudavadi to give the party direction early on by joining the Union Declaration.

According to Nabulindo the time left before the general election is too short, and it would be better for the ANC to decide its fate for supporters and also for those planning

to run for seats on the party's ticket.

Nabulindo argues that the ANC leader will have a better chance of being in the next government forming a coalition with Raila than forming a coalition with the UDA party.

"I urge my party leader to give the position and direction, early and to form an alliance with Raila in the United Nations Declaration, so that the people can organize themselves meaning if you look at the time left before the election is very short" said Nabulindo

The MP also announced his support for Raila Odinga, who is running for the presidency through the Union resolution, becoming the second ANC MP to do so, after Lugari MP Ayub Savula announced his support for the Union Declaration at a political rally held at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega County on March 31 last month. .

"I have not left the ANC, but only to announce my position because if you look at Matungu most people are relying on the coalition coalition just like Ayub Savula also did and also senator Cleo Malala who announced his support for Deputy President William Ruto" added Nabulindo
