CAS Resigns Hours After Joining Ruto's Team, Dealing a Major Blow to the Uhuru Administration

There have been resignations in the President Uhuru-led administration in recent days, as several senior officials seek seats in the approaching general elections.

Ababu Namwamba, the Foreign Affairs CAS, has been selected by Deputy President William Ruto to lead his campaign team for the upcoming general elections, in which the DP seeks to become the fifth President of the Republic.
