Deputy President William Ruto could not fight back emotions during a roadside rally in Olengurone, Nakuru County, after a young poet touched his heart.

Doreen Cheptoo, the gifted young lady, presented an emotive poem, inspiring the second in command to persevere in the face of adversity.

She reminded him of his betrayal by President Uhuru Kenyatta and stated that, despite the painful betrayal, God had destined him as the future President.
