Expect to Return Home in August if You Are Not in Raila Odinga's Azimio. A Warning Shot Is Fired by Maina Kamanda at the Kikuyus

Maina Kamanda, a newly elected Jubilee Party Member of Parliament, has issued another warning to anti-Azimio la Umoja Movement leaders from throughout Mount Kenya ahead of the August general election.

Maina threatened any Mt Kenya politician who is not in the Azimio Mtaani bandwagon that they will not be voted in August, speaking in Ol Kalou, Nyandarua County, where he had accompanied former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for the Azimio Mtaani conference on Tuesday.

In a remark directed at Deputy President William Ruto's backers on the other side of the mountain, Kamanda stated that Kenyans cannot have a leader like DP Ruto, who has been accused of stealing and looting public funds.

"You will return home if you are not in Azimio." Maina Kamanda added, "We cannot have a leader like Ruto."

Mt Kenya leaders such as Maina are advocating for Raila Odinga's presidential candidacy in August.
