Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Presidential confident, Jimi Wanjigi, has said he won't give up his weapons after the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) requested that he do as such.
On Monday, the DCI requested that Wanjigi give up 10 guns and north of 400 projectiles he possesses.
Wanjigi has until Wednesday to give up a reserve of guns and projectiles in his ownership.
However, tending to columnists at his Kwacha Group workplaces in Nairobi on Tuesday, Wanjigi said he won't give up the weapons and further blamed DCI for manhandling his office.
"DCI requested me to give up 10 firearms and 480 slugs. They have been abusing my major privileges and opportunity.
"I won't give up to this maltreatment of regulation requirement organizations for political purposes," Wanjigi said.
Wanjigi likewise said DCI chief, George Kinoti is being utilized by previous Prime Minister Raila Odinga to annoy him for testing him for the ODM official space in August.
