Nandi County Senator, Samson Cheragei and his Murang'a partner, Irungu Kang'ata, have uncovered a plot by the public authority of guaranteeing Deputy President William Ruto loses the August ninth official political race.

Talking on Monday, Cherargei and Kang'ata asserted a plan by the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of abandoning Ruto's excursion to the statehouse in August by postponing the issuance of Identity Cards (IDs) to individuals from Kalenjin and Kikuyu people group.

"This is being done out of malevolence. There is a plot to deny inhabitants of certain pieces of the country the option to cast a ballot by keeping IDs or deferring their issuance.

"In any event, conveying IDs at the workplaces of the bosses for candidates to gather them has been an issue," Cherargei said.

Kang'ata, on his part, said in the Central and Rift Valley districts, which are fortifications of DP Ruto, the public authority is postponing giving IDs to lockout Ruto allies from casting a ballot their President in August.
