After his effective visit through Britain where he listed his vision for Kenya in front of the August surveys, ODM Leader Raila Odinga might have quite recently tracked down an ideal running mate.
This is after a segment of Kenyans in diaspora picked Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu to be Raila's running mate in the impending political race.
This comes scarcely a month after the province manager offered herself to be Raila's running mate in front of his titanic fight with Deputy President William Ruto.
Tending to the press yesterday, Kenyans living in the diaspora, drove by Isaac Newton, loaded acclaims on Charity Ngilu, saying she has everything necessary to be Raila's running mate.
"Akimchagua Charity Ngilu sioni kama atakuwa na matatizo manake atakuwa na msaidizi bora ambaye atamshauri vizuri (If he picks Charity Ngilu I don't check whether he will have any issues he will have a decent right hand who will prompt him well)," they said.
Newton cautioned the previous head of the state against picking Wiper pioneer Kalonzo Musyoka as his running mate even as Kalonzo's partners demand that the previous VP be given the running mate space.
As indicated by them, Kalonzo doesn't have a solid political will, which could deny Raila of the genuinely necessary help to win votes.
"Kalonzo anagueka hivi anasema awful… .na hii inaonyeshwa kwamba itamsumbua Raila kupata uungwaji mkono anaohitaji kuibuka na ushindi (Kalonzo is hesitant… and this shows that it will be challenging for Raila to get the help he really wants to arise triumphant)" he said.
In her most recent media interview, Ngilu, who went with ODM pioneer Raila Odinga during his five-day UK visit, said the nation is ready for a female running mate, adding that she will assume the liability whenever offered the opportunity.
