The National Police Service (NPS) has suspended the continuous countrywide bodaboda crackdown, in order to give space for conferences.
In a tweet by the NPS on Saturday, the assistance said the brief end will permit different partners in the business to counsel and concoct the most ideal way to resolve the issue.
"Requirement of consistence of transit regulation by open vehicle engine cycles also known as Boda crackdown has been halted. This is to give space to the public authority to revamp the area through a multi-sectoral board of trustees dealing with a structure of execution," the police said in a tweet.
In any case, the prohibition on Boda working inside the Nairobi CBD will remain rigorously in force.
"All Boda administrators and riders are encouraged to consent to all prerequisites at the appropriate time," NPS said.
This mandate comes after previous Prime Minister Raila Odinga Friday blamed the public authority for bothering Boda riders, saying not all Boda administrators are crooks.
