President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday at the Nairobi presidential palace organized a consultative meeting with a delegation of political and social leaders from Mandera County.
The delegation, which included MPs, Adan Haji Ali of Mandera South and Mohamed Noor of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), as well as candidates for various political positions in Mandera County, was led by former East African Community Minister for Regional Development, Adan Mohamed.
At the meeting, where they discussed development issues that should be given priority in one of the counties as a way to combat the drought, the leaders praised President Kenyatta's move to implement development projects across the country without discrimination.
