Premier League champions NSL last season, Fc Talanta have exacerbated the woes of defending Premier League champions Tusker Fc after beating them 2-1, at Ruaraka Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

The Talented visitors have prayed not to lose the match by scoring the first goal in the 10th minute through Francis Kahiro and maintaining the lead until the break.

In the second half the winemakers made several technical changes that bore fruit after Jackson Macharia leveled the winners in the 56th minute, a lead that lasted just 6 minutes before Kahiro restored contact with the lead with a second goal that lasted until the final whistle.

Tusker have lost both opening matches while Talanta have not lost a match following four matches this season.

In another match played at Kasarani International Stadium, 19-time champions Gor Mahia maintained a 100 per cent record after beating Kariobangi Sharks 2-0.

Gor, who have lost 3 matches, are second with 9 points, the same as City Stars who played one more match.

Fc Talanta have scored 8 points from 4 matches in 5th place.
