Artists and People Who Showcase Valuable Online Items Inspected by the Kenya Revenue Authority

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has tracked down people who post luxury items on social media, as part of a plan to identify tax evaders.

Postings showing expensive cars, mansions, parties will be monitored by revenue officers to check their ownership and whether they are good taxpayers.

In addition, the authority stated that anyone who is found to be tax evader will risk being banned from traveling, their money & assets will be nationalized by the bank as well as prosecuted.
