KDF Upgrades Its Communication Unit

In an effort to strengthen public awareness, the KDF security forces have launched a communication center at the force headquarters in Nairobi.

The new stations, launched on Tuesday, have television and radio studios, which will be used for the production and dissemination of information to the public.

During the inauguration of the stations, KDF Chief of Staff General Robert Kibochi, commended the efforts of the KDF communications unit for improving communication about KDF, adding that the forces would ensure access to information about its operations.

The KDF forces communication unit was launched in 2009 which describes the operations of those forces.
