Nikita Kering will be vying for the award for the best emerging musician unit where she fights with Mimi Mars of Tanzania among many others.
Comedian Eric Omondi has been nominated in three categories under the AEAUSA awards which are "SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCER OF THE YEAR", "BEST AFRICAN COMEDIAN" and "MEDIA PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR".
Nadia Mukami will face Tanasha Donna, Zuchu, Nandy and Sho Madjozi among others in the category of best female musician in East, Southern and North Africa.
The nomination of candidates for the awards took place between June and August, the voting process is ongoing and began in October and ends in December and the awards ceremony will be held in December.
