Liverpool and Ajax advance to the round of 16 of the European Champions League

Livepool and Ajax Amsterderm advanced to the round of 16 of the European Champions League.

Liverpool lead Group B by 12 points from 4 matches, followed by FC Porto from Portugal with 5 points and 4 points while AC Milan trail by 1 point.

Ajax Amsterderm from the Netherlands also maintained a 100 per cent record from Group C when they recorded a 3-1 away win over Borusia Park against Dortmund.

Ajax lead Group C by 12 points and have also qualified for the quarter-finals.

Ajax join Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Juventus who have qualified for the round of 16.
