The case against the BBI will be mentioned Tuesday in the Supreme Court

The case for the BBI's conciliation process will be heard on November 9, 2021, in the Supreme Court.

On its Twitter account, the court department says the high court will convene a hearing, which will issue directives on appeals relating to the BBI process.

The Attorney General, Kihara Kariuki filed an appeal in the high court challenging the decision of the appellate court to overturn the BBI process.

Through the state attorney general, Kennedy Ogeto, the attorney general, said they are opposed to the decision of many judges on the seven-judge panel, who maintained that the basic structure of the process is being considered in the country.

However, Attorney General Kihara Kariuki opposes the decision that a civil case could be filed against the President, in power in relation to anything done or not done, which is unconstitutional.

The Electoral Commission also filed an appeal against the decision, particularly regarding its constitutional structure, the number of commissioners and the responsibilities of the electoral commission. There are also other appeals that support the decision of the appellate court.

National Assembly Thursday. The Court of Appeal on August 20 upheld the high court's decision to nullify the BBI process.

In a multi-judge decision, six judges on a seven-judge panel criticized the BBI process, citing several phases and actions in the process as unconstitutional and illegal.
