Previous Prime Minister Raila Odinga's wife, Ida Odinga, has requested the National Council from Churches of Kenya (NCCK) to abrogate some temples that are not run via prepared scholars.
Talking yesterday during the send off of the Christian Book by Archbishop Emeritus Habbakuk Abogno, Ida asked NCCK to manage the foundation of holy places and closed down those that neglect to satisfy the necessary guidelines.
She noticed that many little holy places had sprung up in the beyond couple of years, adding that they were not powerful on the grounds that their chiefs had not been prepared.
Ida expressed that a few church pioneers were simply perusing sacred texts as they are written in the Bible as opposed to deciphering it for their devotees.
As indicated by Ida, who is trying to be the fifth First Lady should her significant other success in the August official challenge, a few Christian organizations have been set up to bring in cash while utilizing God's name as opposed to carrying individuals nearer to God.
"We need Kenyans to buy into religions that are officially enrolled and not those whose conviction frameworks are commodified.
"We should lead preparing for every one of the individuals who serve the expression of God," Ida commented.
