Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has been charged by Deputy President William Ruto of paying Amani National Congress (ANC) and Ford Kenya MPs to abandon their parties and join the Azimio La Umoja movement.
Hundreds of MPs from both the ANC and Ford Kenya have abandoned their parties and joined Raila's bandwagon in the last week.
DP Ruto, who refers to Raila as Mr. Kitendawili, revealed on Friday that he is enticing Western MPs with Sh 20 million apiece to abandon the ANC or Ford Kenya and join Azimio.
Raila complained about his gifts to churches and Harambee, but the ODM chairman was purchasing ANC and Ford Kenya MPs for Sh 20 million apiece, according to Ruto.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is reportedly believed to have paid Sh 500 million to ANC and Ford Kenya MPs in Western Kenya to denounce Mudavadi and Wetangula when they joined the second in command.
