Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Kieni Member of Parliament Kanini Kega were chased away by people in Karatina Town on Friday evening, according to a video.
Raila and Kega were in town in front of an Azimio la Umoja Movement event on Saturday at Ihura Stadium in Murang'a County.
During their layover in Karatina, Kega began criticizing Rigathi Gachagua, a local Member of Parliament who is one of Deputy President William Ruto's cronies.
The enraged audience began heckling Kega, forcing him to interrupt his address.
President Uhuru Kenyatta's political backbone is the Mt Kenya area, and his efforts to keep William Ruto out have failed miserably.
As a result, William Ruto's wave appears to be unstoppable, especially with the support of Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula.
Here's a footage of Raila Odinga and Kanini Kega being pursued about Karatina town like wild dogs.
