David Murathe, Vice-Chairman of the Jubilee Party, has commented on the merging of the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) with the Azimio La Umoja Movement, which occurred yesterday, ahead of the August 9th election.
Raila Odinga's Azimio La Umoja united with Kalonzo Musyoka's OKA at the merger, which was graced by President Uhuru Kenyatta, and this, according to Murathe, is a significant success for Jakom in his inexorable drive to become Kenya's President in August.
Following yesterday's event at Kasarani Gymnasium, Raila Odinga, whom he referred to as Kenya's Nelson Mandela, will become the country's fifth President.
"I told the guys that this would be a Mandela moment for the country." "Our country and communities are currently going through a phase of healing," Murathe says.
