Ruto Is Having Restless Nights as Information Surface About What Uhuru Intends to Do to Raila at Sagana Next Week

President Uhuru Kenyatta has organized a conference of Mount Kenya leaders, dubbed "Sagana Three," at Sagana State Lodge in Nyeri County to officially endorse ODM Leader Raila Odinga for president.

The meeting is anticipated to take place next week, ahead of the Jubilee Party National Delegates Convention, according to sources (NDC).

Uhuru also intends to use the occasion to start an assault on his estranged deputy, Dr. William Ruto, who has officially declared himself the region's kingpin.

Uhuru is collaborating with Mr. Odinga, and their respective parties—Jubilee and ODM—have assembled their NDCs on February 25 and 26 to finalize their coalition arrangements.

Jubilee vice-chairman David Murathe intimated that President Kenyatta will soon meet with Mount Kenya officials to explain why he disagreed with his deputy.

The president plans to conduct a big charm offensive to reclaim his Mt. Kenya backyard, which has shifted towards Ruto over the previous four years.

While most elected leaders, including the majority of governors, have sided with the Azimio la Umoja movement, which supports ODM leader Raila Odinga, who has Uhuru's support, there is a sense that the President will need to do more to entice ordinary citizens in the vote-rich region to support his candidacy.
