Three governors from the Ukambani area have encouraged former Vice President and Wiper Democratic Movement party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to release former Prime Minister Raila Odinga before of the August 9th presidential election.
According to reports, Kalonzo is wanting Sh 3 billion in bribes from Raila Odinga in order for him to join the Azimio La Umoja Movement.
However, when rallying support for Raila Odinga's presidency in Ukambani on Wednesday, governors Charity Ngilu (Kitui), Kivutha Kibwana (Makueni), and Alfred Mutua (Machakos) asked Kalonzo to swallow his pride and join the team since 'it is the administration in waiting.'
Mutua persuaded Kalonzo to abandon his gaming with the Kamba group and instead join Azimio, without imposing any restrictions on Raila.

Ngilu, for her part, asked Kalonzo to join Raila's Azimio or perish in August with Deputy President William Ruto and the Tangatanga brigade.
Kibwana, for his part, pushed for unity in Azimio, but said that even if Kalonzo refuses to join the bandwagon, Baba will become Kenya's fifth President in August.
