Tuesday, March 15, 2022 - A man has been captured in Busia County, for sitting for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) English Paper One for his dad.
George Barasa Makokha's dad was enrolled as a private applicant at Our Lady of Mercy Secondary School.
He was caught by the test community director who detailed him to the police.
A police report read;
"On getting the report, the province security group drove by the DCC and SCPC hurried to the middle and found the suspect specifically George Barasa Makokha a Luhya male grown-up and who upon cross examination uncovered that he had been sent by a competitor of Index Number 35960101026 enlisted for Busia sub-district private in particular Josephat Basoga Makokha and who is the speculate's dad.
"The suspect was accompanied to the station and put in guardianship to be accused of the offense of goal to imitate and not being the enlisted applicant in repudiation of segment 30(c) of the KNEC Act"
The suspect is being held at Busia Police Station.
