MCAs Claim That Nairobi Governor Anne Kananu Is an Alcoholic Who Spends the Most of Her Time at Nightclubs and Bars

A group of Nairobi County Assembly MCAs has accused Nairobi Governor Anne Kananu of spending too much time in bars and nightclubs rather than addressing Nairobians' needs.

Kananu, according to MCAs led by Waithaka MCA Antony Kiragu, has disregarded her duties and is incompetent for the post.

He further claimed that the governor makes more than Sh1 million per month and spends most of her time at Nairobi's bars and nightclubs instead of working.

Kiragu went on to say that when she comes into the workplace, she is usually intoxicated, and that the bottle she wanders about with is always full of booze, not water, as it looks.

"She is a governor who is not in office. Kananu never comes to work.
