A billionaire from the United Kingdom and a huge Chelsea fan, Nick Candy, has confirmed his intention to buy the Chelsea Club, which has been put on the market by its owner, Russian billionaire Roman Abramovic.
Billionaire Candy has tabled a £2.5 billion offer, plus an additional $1.5 billion for the maintenance of Stamford Bridge Stadium, something that some of the wealthy who have come forward have failed to do.
Candy, 49, is a huge Chelsea fan and started supporting the team at the age of four, with each season having season-round tickets to watch Chelsea matches.
A Candy spokesman said: "Nick Candy is currently looking into some of the issues for Chelsea.
For any offer, we must connect with other companies and be careful of our intention to connect with our international counterparts. "
It should be noted that Roman Abramovic said the deadline to receive an offer for sale to Chelsea is March 15, this year.
