Previous Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has left the decision Jubilee Party.
In an explanation to newsrooms on Friday, Sonko informed the Jubilee authority that he was done able to go on as an individual from President Uhuru Kenyatta's party.
"Kindly acknowledge this letter as my conventional notification of abdication as an individual from the Jubilee Party powerful tenth March 2022. This is in exercise of my freedoms to have a place with an ideological group of my decision as revered in the Constitution of Kenya," he composed.
The previous Governor refered to an absence of help from the party during his ouster in 2020.
Sonko was reprimanded from office after he was blamed for defilement and maltreatment of office, charges he named as crazy.
Sonko went on to thank the party authorities who remained with him when the ouster movement was brought before the County Assembly and the Senate.
"I might want to thank the party initiative for this help that they gave me while I was filling in as a Governor of the Nairobi City County before I was wrongfully, illegally, unlawfully and noxiously eliminated from office and trust they can assist with improving this nation," read piece of his letter.
In his acquiescence letter, Sonko wished the party individuals well in their political professions.
After his reprimand, his position was taken by Anne Kananu, who has likewise announced interest in the position.
The move comes only days after the United States government, through the State Department, prohibited him and his close family from entering America over what the President Joe Biden government named as being associated with debasement during his residency as lead representative.
Nonetheless, Sonko separated himself from the claims, rather blaming the US government for being pernicious and wading into controversy.
