The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has today led meetings to choose the reasonable candidate to turn into its official banner carrier.
The party got three assignments other than that of Deputy President William Ruto.
In any case, minutes after the meetings, UDA Election Board Chairman, Kipruto Arap Kirwa, reported that the party had chosen DP Ruto as the banner carrier.
Ruto will be introduced to the National Delegates Conference (NDC) on Tuesday, March 15 for support.
The UDA board precluded Tracy Wanjiru and Orina Nyakwama over absence of expenses and scholastic papers.
Tracy Wanjiru is a 23-year-old Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) understudy.
The Applied Bio-Engineering understudy had looked to challenge the Deputy President for the party's official ticket.
