Tusker FC have kept alive their hopes of retaining the Premier League title after registering a three-goal victory over Nunge in one of two matches played on Tuesday afternoon at Kasarani International Stadium.
In all, Ugandan striker Deogratious Ojok scored twice for the Tusker winners, in the 79th and 91st minutes, in addition to a 50th-minute goal from Tanzanian striker Ibrahim Joshua.
The victory puts Robert Matano's side in second place with 37 points from 21 matches, one more than the top-ranked Kakamega Homeboyz with 43 points.
Police FC previously clashed with a 1-1 draw with KCB defenders in the opening match played at Kasarani Annex Stadium.
With seven more than 23 rounds to be played on Wednesday, the Kakamega Homeboyz hosted the Vihiga Bullets, while Mathare United hosted the Kariobangi Sharks, with the Nairobi City Stars vying for dominance with the Post Office Rangers.
The Green Army will clash with Sofapaka in Taita Taveta in Wundanyi, while Bandari FC will travel to Talanta FC, and then the AFC Leopards will face tyranny with the Defense Stars.
