In the video, Wetangula, who was campaigning in Nakuru County with Deputy President William Ruto, incorrectly advised Kenyans to support former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's Azimio La Umoja movement rather than the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

Wetangula's event came only days after a legislative candidate in Nambale, Busia County, made the same mistake and backed Raila's Azimio during Ruto's visit to Western Kenya.
