Nyandarua County Representative Margaret Wanjiru Has Died

The Nyandarua County Assembly mourns the death of elected MP Margaret Wanjiru Ndung’u, also known as Muri of Rruli), from Njabini-Kiburu ward.

According to the Speaker of the National Assembly, James Ndegwa Wahome, the elected representative died after a short illness. 

Giving an official announcement of the death of the nominee, Wahome said (Ruri Mumbi) became ill on Friday morning and was rushed to Njabini clinic for treatment.

However, he was advised to seek special treatment at Kijabe Mission Hospital, but he died shortly before being taken to the hospital.

The late Wanjiru was appointed to the Nyandarua County Assembly by the Jubilee party in 2017 to address maternal interests, a role he took seriously in line with Speaker James Ndegwa Wahome.
